GRADUATE TRAINEE - IT

Description

Reporting to the Head of IT, this role will be based at the Head Office on the Isle of Man. 

There are 4 key components to the Graduate Trainee Role, which include:

• Understanding the Business: You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the business from spending time in each of the key functions.
• Understanding the Business Operations: Although you will be mainly based with the IT function, you will spend pre-determined time periods with other departments to understand the challenges facing the company and to grow your understanding of our operational set up.
• Developing Business Logic: You will work on real projects to understand how the company develops and delivers the 'H&B Way' and to also contribute to its development and improvement.
• Growing with the Customers: Through this role, you will actively engage with internal and external customers, understanding the values and benefits of our operations.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2:2 Bachelor's degree and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office. Other desirable attributes include work experience in an administrative role, familiarity of working with numbers with a basic understanding of budgeting & accounting and knowledge of computer technologies and infrastructure (SAN, Virtualisation, Networking, Server Enviornments).
